Generative Engine Optimization
GEO Service in Bangladesh for AI Search Visibility
I make your business easier for Google AI Overviews, Gemini, ChatGPT search, Perplexity and Bing Copilot to identify, trust and cite. The work is entity SEO, structured data, answer-ready content and consistent brand signals across the sources those systems read.
More buyers now ask an assistant for "the best dentist in Dhanmondi" or "a reliable AC repair service near me" instead of scrolling ten blue links. If the assistant cannot work out who you are, what you do and where you do it, you are not in the answer.
- AI Overviews
- Entity SEO
- LLM citations
- Schema markup
- Local SEO + AI search
Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) is the work of making a business easy for AI answer engines to identify, verify and cite. It covers entity consistency, schema.org structured data, answer-ready pages, reviews and brand mentions on trusted sites, so tools like Google AI Overviews, Gemini, ChatGPT search and Perplexity name you when someone asks.

What is GEO?
How GEO differs from traditional SEO
Traditional SEO earns a position in a list of links. GEO earns a mention inside a written answer. The two share a foundation (crawlable pages, clear content, links and reviews), but an AI answer adds a step: the system has to be confident about which real business it is describing before it names you.
Then
Traditional SEO
- Rankings in the organic results
- Clicks from a results page
- Title tags and snippets
- Keyword-led pages
- Traffic as the main measure
- Featured
Now
Generative Engine Optimization
- Mentions inside AI-written answers
- Entity recognition: who, what, where
- Citations to your pages as sources
- Brand mentions on third-party sites
- Answers that survive follow-up questions
- Visibility in AI Overviews
Why it matters
Where AI answers get their information about your business
Each assistant builds its answer from different sources. Google AI Overviews and Gemini lean on Google's own index, Google Maps data and the Knowledge Graph. Bing Copilot draws on Bing's index and Bing Places. ChatGPT search and Perplexity run live web searches and cite the pages they read. One inconsistent fact in any of those places weakens the whole picture.
Fewer clicks reach your site
An AI Overview often answers the question on the results page. If your business is named in that answer, you still win the call. If it is not, the click never existed.
Entities beat keywords
Assistants reason about things, not strings. Your business name, address, phone, founder, services and service area need to match everywhere so they resolve to one entity.
Third-party proof counts
AI systems prefer facts they can confirm elsewhere: reviews, directory listings, press, association pages and industry sites that mention you by name.
Local and AI search share signals
Your Google Business Profile, reviews and citations feed both the Map Pack and AI answers to local questions. Weak local foundations show up in both places.
Local GEO
How AI answers "best X near me" questions
Ask Gemini or an AI Overview for "the best pediatric dentist near me" and the answer is usually assembled from Google Maps listings, review text, the businesses' own websites and a few list articles. That means the same signals behind Local SEO services decide who gets named: distance from the searcher, how relevant your categories and services are, and how prominent your business looks across the web.
Review text matters more than most owners expect. When customers write "they fixed our AC the same evening" or "the root canal was painless", an assistant can quote that as a reason to recommend you. A profile with a correct primary category, a full services list and recent reviews gives an AI system concrete things to say, which is why Google Business Profile optimization is usually the first GEO task for a local business.
- Google Business Profile categories and services
- Review recency and what reviews actually say
- NAP consistency across directories
- LocalBusiness schema with areaServed and sameAs
- Service and area pages that answer real questions
- Bing Places and Apple Business Connect listings
- Mentions in local news and list articles
- Owner replies that add useful detail
Who needs GEO?
Which businesses benefit most from GEO?
01
Local service businesses
Clinics, trades, law firms and repair shops that want to be named when people ask an assistant for a provider in their city or area.
02
SEO agencies
Agencies that need entity, schema and AI visibility work delivered for their clients under their own process.
03
Consultants and experts
Personal brands that need AI systems to connect their name with their expertise, credentials and published work.
04
SaaS and B2B brands
Companies that appear in comparison and "which tool should I use" prompts, where being described accurately matters as much as being mentioned.
05
Healthcare, legal and professional services
Trust-heavy fields where AI systems are cautious, so author credentials, accurate claims and verifiable proof carry extra weight. See how this applies to dental clinics.

GEO service stack
What's included in my Generative Engine Optimization service
AI Search Visibility Audit
I run the prompts your buyers would use in AI Overviews, Gemini, ChatGPT search, Perplexity and Bing Copilot, then record whether you are named, how you are described and which sources get cited instead.
Entity SEO
I make one clear version of your business: the same name, address, phone, founder, services and area on your website, Google Business Profile, social profiles and directories, so systems resolve them to one entity.
Schema and structured data
I add JSON-LD for Organization or LocalBusiness (with the right subtype), Person, Service, FAQPage, Article and BreadcrumbList, including sameAs links that tie your site to your other profiles.
AI Overview readiness
I restructure key pages so each one opens with a direct answer, uses specific headings and covers the follow-up questions a searcher asks next.
LLM citation work
I improve the pages an assistant is most likely to cite: clear facts, named services, prices or ranges where you publish them, and claims backed by evidence on the page.
Topical coverage mapping
I map the questions buyers ask around each service and build supporting pages, so your site covers the topic rather than one keyword.
Query fan-out coverage
AI systems split one question into several sub-searches. I check which of those sub-questions your site answers and fill the gaps with comparison, cost and how-to content.
Brand mentions and citations
I clean up directory listings and build mentions on sites assistants trust: industry directories, associations, local media and partner pages. More on the groundwork in this guide to local citations and NAP consistency.
E-E-A-T and trust signals
I strengthen author pages, credentials, case studies, review display and the About page, so a cautious AI system has evidence to rely on.
GEO reporting and next steps
Each month you see which prompts name you, which sources get cited, what changed in schema and entity coverage, and what I am fixing next.

Process
My GEO process, step by step
AI search discovery audit
I test buyer prompts across Google AI Overviews, Gemini, ChatGPT search, Perplexity and Bing Copilot, and note who gets named and which pages get cited.
Entity and trust signal mapping
I list every place your business appears (website, Google Business Profile, Bing Places, social profiles, directories, press) and flag each mismatch in name, address, phone or description.
Content and intent gap analysis
I compare the questions buyers ask with the pages you have, and find the missing service, cost, comparison and FAQ content.
Schema and technical fixes
I implement structured data, fix internal links and remove crawl blocks. Where the site itself is the problem, the technical SEO service handles indexing, speed and rendering.
Answer-ready content
I rewrite priority pages to open with direct answers, use specific headings and include facts an assistant can quote.
Monitoring and iteration
I re-run the same prompts each month, track mentions and cited sources, and adjust what to fix next.
Why Ratul Roy
Why work with Ratul Roy for GEO and AI search optimization?
GEO is not a separate discipline from SEO. It sits on the same Local SEO, technical SEO, entity and content work I already do for service businesses, the work behind organic results like the TechicTalk growth to 976K clicks. The difference is the extra attention to how machines read and verify a business.
Local SEO and GEO together
I work on Google Maps visibility and AI answers at the same time, because for local businesses they draw on the same data.
Entity-first thinking
I start with a consistent entity (schema, citations, service pages, social profiles), not with prompts or tricks.
Technical foundation
AI crawlers need fast, crawlable, well-structured pages. I fix those before writing anything new.
Content for people first
Pages that answer buyers' questions clearly are also the pages AI systems cite. I write for the buyer and structure for the machine.
Honest about uncertainty
AI answers change often and nobody controls them. I report what I can measure and say plainly what I cannot.
Measured in enquiries
Visibility only matters if it brings calls, bookings and qualified leads, so that is what I report on alongside mentions.
AI discovery preview
How an AI system decides to recommend a business
A simplified picture for a query like best GEO expert in Bangladesh. It is not a live platform result or a ranking guarantee.
It searches and reads pages
The assistant runs one or more searches and reads the top sources, including your site if it can crawl it.
It resolves the entity
It matches names, addresses and profiles to decide which real business each source is talking about.
It checks corroboration
It looks for the same facts on reviews, directories and third-party pages before trusting them.
It matches services to the question
It checks whether your pages clearly offer what was asked, in the place that was asked about.
It writes the answer
It names the businesses it is most confident about and often links the pages it relied on.

Frequently Asked Questions
Frequently Asked Questions About Generative Engine Optimization
What is GEO in SEO?
GEO stands for Generative Engine Optimization. It is the work of making your business easy for AI answer engines such as Google AI Overviews, Gemini, ChatGPT search and Perplexity to identify, trust and cite, using entity consistency, structured data, answer-ready content and third-party mentions.
Is GEO different from SEO?
Partly. GEO builds on SEO rather than replacing it. Rankings, crawlable pages and links still matter. GEO adds attention to entity consistency, schema, citable facts and brand mentions, because AI systems need to be sure which business they are describing before they name it.
Can you guarantee that ChatGPT or Perplexity will recommend my business?
No. Nobody controls what AI platforms say, and their answers change from one day to the next. GEO improves the signals those systems rely on, and I report honestly on which prompts name you and which do not.
How do AI tools choose businesses for "near me" questions?
Mostly from local data. Google AI Overviews and Gemini draw on Google Maps listings and reviews, Bing Copilot on Bing Places, and ChatGPT search and Perplexity on the web pages they find. Consistent listings, strong reviews and clear service pages help in all of them.
Does my Google Business Profile affect AI answers?
Yes, for local questions it is one of the strongest inputs. Your categories, services, hours, review count and the words customers use in reviews all give Google's AI systems something specific to say about you.
What is the sameAs property and why does it matter?
sameAs is a schema.org property that lists your other official profiles, such as your Facebook Page, LinkedIn and directory listings. It tells search engines these profiles belong to the same entity as your website, which helps them connect facts about you.
Should I block AI crawlers in robots.txt?
Not if you want AI visibility. Blocking crawlers such as OAI-SearchBot or PerplexityBot stops those tools from reading your pages for their search answers. Many sites block them by accident through a security plugin or CDN setting, so it is one of the first things I check.
How long does GEO take?
Fixes such as schema, unblocked crawlers and corrected listings can be done in weeks. Being named consistently takes longer, because it depends on reviews, mentions and content building up over months, and on how often each AI platform refreshes what it knows.
